Great "how to meditate" instructional cd. Jack Kornfield is easy to listen to, interesting, very informative, and has many funny stories that illustrate points that he is making.

As I started to try to learn more about meditation I learned a bit about Jack Kornfield whose background is very interesting both as his Buddhist background and western science, so I decided to to look at some things he has done.
This is a great introduction to meditation and the background of meditation - the benefits and how to start mediation.
Highly recommended to those interested in the subject from one of the leading people in the field.

Wonderful. Lovely. Just listening, without doing the meditation exercises, is calming and interesting. Also, animals love this audio! Play it while you are gone from the house to calm the pets. Jack Kornfield conveys his compassion and love, frustration, humor, and serenity. His voice makes a connection with the listener. If drivers listened to the lectures while on the road, there would be fewer wrecks and road rage. Worth buying. Highly recommended, even for those who are not interested in actually meditating!

If you are new to meditation this is a must have for anyone taking the first step. It answers all the questions you may have, as well as serving as a guide for this lifelong journey.
