 Another must February 25, 2010

While my husband was at home with Hospice care prior to his passing and he was, understandably,
very stressed, physically uncomfortable and not sleeping well.
Not knowing how he would respond to this music I slipped it into the player and set the volume very low.
As we were talking he asked, "what is that beautiful sound ?"
In minutes he was sleeping restfully.
Each time a caregiver or other visitor was here I made sure to have the album playing at a low volume.
It was almost inaudible but the response was always the same from those who visited, "what are you playing? It's the most wonderful sound."
I have since purchased this recording to give as gifts. Each person receiving the album has commented that they have received something special
from it even if they are not sure what listening to it has done for the.
Relaxation, meditation, sleep February 25, 2010

I heard of this cd from a friend and bought it on Amazon (cheapest). I have trouble falling to sleep and didn't want to take sleeping pills. I listen to this cd and it puts me right to sleep everytime.
This is actually my second purchase of the same cd. I have had the original and used it successfully for over a year.
I am going to play it for my children to help them get to sleep earlier too!
Also, be aware...I think there's a warning inside the cd in the material that says do not listen to this cd while driving (because it makes you so sleepy and relaxed).
It has also helped me during times that could be stressful such as before a dentist appt. and during times of definite stress. Just stop, drop, and listen (like stop, drop, and roll they teach in school...what to do in an emergency if you're on fire).

Thought trying something different would be cool and find a relaxing CD.
I think this music is boring and not worth the money.
I found no relaxation from this guy and his bowls.
I only played it once and cant really remember it too well because once was quite enough.

I absolutely love the CD. I listen to it day or night and it really puts me into a space of calmness and clarity. Would like to explore other tibetian bowl music to see if is is the bowls in general or this specific recording.
I highly recommend!
