After many years and countless similar recordings, this remains my "go to" for deep, abiding calm. There is no distracting music or beat. It is what it is and pretends to be no more. The composition is amazing. My husband said, "That's good stuff. Really mellows me out."

As a Reiki Master, I have performed, over the years many Reiki treatments. Adding Seven Metals CD as my background and relaxation music has boosted the energy of every session. Due to the amplified state of relaxation, my clients reach a much deeper meditative level.Every client comments on the added sense of peace experienced since I added Seven Metals to my energy offerings. Given a choice of music, once having heard Seven Metals, every client requests using it in successive treatments. In addition, I always play the singing bowls before the client arrives to "clear" the space and create a positive atmosphere. The music actually does half the work for me, and many have gone home to order the CD to help them sleep at night. I highly recommend using this CD for any type of energy work or massage.

Seven Metals CD calms my heart and deepens my breathing June 14, 2010

I have been enjoying this CD for years. It always sounds new and always leads me to a calmer, quieter place. My breathing immediately deepens and my heart rate slows down to a healthy state. It quiets my mind chatter, too, so I always ask for it when I'm getting a massage. I also appreciate that the artist used no reverb or other electronic effects when recording the bowls. They are so wonderful on their own and he really captured their beauty. If you meditate, you may find as I do that the bowls take over for your mantra.

this would be a nice recording if:
1. the bowls weren't all being rung at once, then stopped, then suddenly starting again, which can actually startle a person.
2. there was no 'reverb' sound, which in this recording, creates a 'beat'. this beat is very faced paced. it sounds a lot like a racing heart beat. so if you are trying to relax, but you hear this racing beat, it actually causes you to feel more anxious, and for your heart rate to go up. obviously this defeats the purpose of listening to Tibetan singing bowls for meditation!
I heard it once and won't be listening to it again. I wish I hadn't bought it, to be honest.
Nada Himalaya by Deuter is the only other Tibetan singing bowl CD I have, and I like that one much better ( it is actually calming and peaceful).

This CD is sooooooooooooo relaxing. It is beautiful, soothing and moving. It also makes me appreciate my Tibetan singing bowl.
